Jennifer Parker brings a passionate, deeply personal approach to fighting for the rights of injured clients and their families. Her background in social justice, family law, and mediation gives her a unique lens on how accidents affect not just the injured, but also the people who love them.
Ms. Parker received her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law and her Master of Humanities, with a certification in Women's Studies, from the University of Houston, Clear Lake. She also earned her mediator certification from South Texas College of Law. During law school, she served as Associate Editor of the Texas Journal of Business Law and was a member of Delta Theta Phi and the STCL Women's Law Society.
FOR HER, IT’S ALWAYS PERSONAL
Ms. Parker began her legal career at a family law clinic serving indigent clients with divorce and custody matters, work that shaped the compassion she now brings to all personal injury cases. Ms. Parker discovered her natural talent for advocacy early on, negotiating on behalf of family and friends, and realized it was both something she loved and something she excelled at.
She has written several graduate papers on social justice, art, film, and philosophy, and was a presenter, speaker, and author at the University of Houston Humanities Conference, where she presented her paper "Perception and the Law: What We See, What We Don't See, and What We Should See." Personal injury has become a true passion for her. Accompanying clients through the full arc of their cases has given her a firsthand understanding of the profound impact accidents have on families, making her advocacy in this field especially meaningful.
Ms. Parker grew up in Texarkana, the "Twin City" where the Texas-Arkansas border runs through the heart of downtown, and moved to Houston in 2006. It’s been her home ever since. An avid Rockets and Astros fan, she enjoys concerts, festivals, and the many events Houston has to offer. In her spare time, she spends time with family and friends, exploring the city and enjoying all of the things that Houston has to offer.
